Spice opens a Smartphone Spa for phones from any brand

Spice Retail has decided to throw open a new Smartphone Spa for users of handsets from just about any manufacturing company. But before we get to that, it’s easy to have Spice Retail confused with its arm which sells Spice branded phones, even though the former vends smartphones, tablets and accessories from several different makers.
The Spice Smartphone Spa will let customers buy covers and other add-ons for their devices as well as bring their handsets in for repairs, brand no bar. Considering that a lot of companies are taking their sales online, we suspect the main motivation people will have for visiting the center will have to do with getting their gadgets fixed.


After the initial test run in Delhi’s Connaught Place, we may see similar spas by the company popping up in Kolkata and Bangalore. Spice Retail’s Prashant Bindal explains that the outlet will serve as a one-stop shop, with customers being able to avail of services beginning at Rs 100 depending on what they’re looking for.

The Spice Smartphone Spa will allow people to drop their devices which may be in need of repair and these will be delivered to the respective authorized service centers. Bindal has reportedly told PTI that customized skins at budget-friendly prices as well as screen guards will be on offer amongst other accessories.
As we mentioned above, only one Smartphone Spa has opened shop in India at Connaught Place. Spice Retail has a chain of brick-and-mortar stores going by the Spice Hotspot name.
